So here’s what I got for today, my macronutrients and dieting plan. Currently, I am consuming 205-215 grams of protein a day, 300 grams of carbs, and 60 grams of fat. This added to roughly 2600 calories a day. I try to get anywhere from 40-60 grams of fiber on top of that as well.
This week thus far, I have finally been nailing my numbers consistently. As I told you guys before, with me not being able to lift last week, my diet somewhat went to the wayside. So my plan stands as such. I will continue to hit my current numbers for the remainder of this week, then starting on Monday, I will begin to reduce some calories in an attempt to lose 5 pounds.
I’m going to reduce calories very slowly. I would like to drop these 5 pounds while maintaining a calorie intake of more then 2450. We will see. This is going to be the first time I have really looked to “cut weight.” I am doing this in efforts to improve my explosiveness with olympic lifts such as the clean and snatch and also my push press. I am weighing in currently around 180 pounds, so 175 will be the goal.
