Vacation is over. Today was my first day back full tilt in the gym. I was certainly hungry to get back, but let me tell you, the start of today wasn’t easy! I woke up to an alarm for the first time in a week 😦 DISLIKE! After that I was up and at em for my morning cardio. My normal routine, EASY, run, was much more difficult. After that, my chest workout was OK but still I could feel myself shaking off the cobwebs. Hey, all part of the process right??
Anyways, after some clients and some meals, it was finally time for the nightly WOD. Tonight we hit up ANGIE! 100 Pull Ups, 100 Push Ups, 100 Butterfly Sit Ups, and 100 Air Squats. This CrossFit WOD was just what I needed to get the blood pumping in the right direction again. Not a super difficult WOD, but rather an efficient one. My time: 14:06 RX
Finally, dinner 🙂 Refueling, reloading, and recharging the batteries for tomorrow. I can’t express enough the importance of hitting your MACROS! For dinner I had a little over 600 calories left. I needed primarily protein and carbs. The answer? Egg sandwich with FETA CHEESE! Broccoli not shown. Fish Oil down the hatch. Feeling good!
