Goodmorning guys, Happy Tuesday!
It’s bright and sunny outside. Seeing the sun rise makes me ecstatic and full of energy. Just knowing that their is a world out there full of possibilities waiting for the taking makes me GO! With this being the last week of June, YES THAT’S RIGHT, last week of June, Friday is “Fran Friday!” This is the tradition we do every Friday at the end of the month. Knowing this, I had to change things up a bit training wise. Normally, I would perform deadlifts on Friday. Saturday is my Warrior Dash that I am hoping to be able to run in, so knowing this and the fact that Fran is on Friday, I moved my deadlifts to today! WHAT!?!? Today>?> Yessir, today will not only be squats but deadlifts too! I am super excited for this challenge. The quads and the hamstrings will be on blast today 🙂
To fuel for this battle, I prepared myself a big boy breakfast. We are looking at a BIG egg white omelette with 1 cup Egg whites, 1 cup broccoli and 1 handful of spinach. Then we have 1 cup of oats mixed with cinnamon. Finally, we have half of a wheat bagel topped with 1 TBSP of Natural peanut butter 🙂 BOOM! Fuel the fire properly.
Also, yesterday I picked up this little piece of equipment. I went to the grocery store to buy my 7 gallon jugs of water when I stumbled upon this 2.2 L water jug. I figured, why not give it a shot?? 2.2 liters, so drink the entire jug once, then refill 3/4 of it and chug, wallah, you have a gallon 🙂 I have been using it all of today and love it!!
