Hey everyone! Happy Monday!
So yesterday was a pretty awesome day for this guy! Normally, my Sundays are pretty relaxing to the point of almost boredom. What happens is Sunday is my rest day from the gym, so I make sure not to schedule anything physically active on that day. Well then Sunday rolls around and my schedule is so plain that I go stir crazy! Vicious cycle I know haha. ANYWAYS, this Sunday I vowed to change that.
To start the day, I kicked things off by joining the phenomenon that is ICED COFFEE! What do I mean? Well believe it or not, I have never drank an iced coffee before. Living in a world that literally RUNS off of a certain coffee shop, I couldn’t help but give this sensation a try.
Long story short, I got a sugar free french vanilla with one equal packet on the side. I drank the entire cup, it was delicious. Glad I am finally part of society haha.
Following that event, my boredom returned. I took my dog for a walk and finally I decided that I would make Sunday an “Active Rest” day. Now normally I would refrain from any weight training or strenuous activity on my rest day, so I accommodated to suit my needs 🙂
I performed this in my down stair family room.
This was fun, certainly got me moving and sweating furiously. And to give credit where credit is due, the radio station that I was listening to while performing the 25 Minute AMRAP did not play one commercial. So now next time I complain about the radio always playing commercials, I suppose I can bite my tongue LOL.
Not long after that, following a shower and trip to Walmarts, I received a phone call informing me the family was going out to eat. We’ll I’m obviously not going to turn that down! We went to an all you can eat, CLEAN chinese restaurant. I was a HAPPY camper!
Back to the Monday Grind! 2 weeks out from my gym competition’s transformation challenge! Dialing it in!! Have a great day everyone 🙂
