Happy Sunday everyone! It is a beautiful day outside right now and the mood is just awesome. Nothing better then a relaxing Sunday and great weather outside. Had a nice peaceful morning, sleeping in all the way till 8:30! Haha many of you may turn your head at that one. Truth be told, I don’t really sleep to late normally. I get up Monday-Friday at 6 AM and Saturday is always tricky but Sundays I usually get to sleep IN a little bit. The extra shut eye certainly gave me a refreshed feeling and was much needed.
I started my day with a nice jog. I’m not sure the exact distance of the run but it took me a little under half an hour. Using my polar watch (which I’m inlove with) I was able to track everything. My average heartrate was 158 beats per minute with a max heartrate of 181. I burned 464 calories total which was nice. Sunday’s I normally take completely off from training but being now that I am 33 days out from my first Tough Mudder, I really need to dial in my cardio to prepare myself.
I got back from my run and enjoyed a nice dish of 93% Lean Ground Beef and broccoli. I rolled out the 4 OZ into two 2OZ patties just to extend the fun haha. I try to lower my carb intake a bit on offdays so today’s meals have consisted of alot of protein, fats, and veggies.
With it being 2 weeks past my last GOALS LIST, it’s time to track it, assess it, and establish a new one! As I’ve said before, this is truly one of my favorite things to do and especially share with all. Let’s take a look
There as been a bit of change since my last list I did on 4/14. Let Me break it all down.
Short Term Goals
Grow Personal Trainer Client List- This is a must. I have 1 client right now. Give it time Jon 🙂
Grow Class Sizes + Make Class Worth It- I have the honor of offering a class at my gym starting some time next week. The course is entitled “Spartan Unleashed.” I’ll be conducting it Tuesday and Thursday Morning from at 6AM and 7AM and also on Saturday morning at the same time. I need to get this class to grow in sign ups and make the material worth their time and money.
Crush Night UT Sessions- I’m excited for this. The UT program at my gym is offered at 3 times during the day. 5/6AM,12Noon, and 6:45 PM. Performing UT at 5AM and then performing my workout only a few hours later was really dampering my lifts. After about a month or more off of UT, I am finally back at it! Only this time, I’m joining the night crew! This should allow me to exert as much effort as I can in both sessions with the hours that separate them.
Make Money- Self Explanatory
Add 4 More Pounds Of Solid Muscle Onto Frame- I say 4 because last week I gained 1 pound. This past week, same weight :/. Not a bad thing but not a good thing either. Just means I have to increase my calories a bit more.

Get Crossfit Certified and offer classes- I am scheduled to get certified on May 25th-26th!
Bring a Grade A Profile to the Fitbody Convention- The Fitbody convention is a seminar I will be attending in July in Philadelphia. This seminar is run by Endeavor Sports and given by IFBB Pro Ryan Hughes. Ryan will be discussing tips on how to establish yourself and your brand in the fitness industry. I am EXTREMELY excited to attend this event and want to bring not only the best physique I can achieve, but the best credentials for myself and my CTT brand. I will be surrounded by a ton of like minded people and I see alot of potential in this event.
Network To The Best Of My Ability- This piggy back on the last bullet point.
These are my goals. Some lofty, some within reach. I really need to load up and start hitting this list with a full head of steam. Tomorrow starts a new week with a world of opportunity. I need to go out and make it HAPPEN!
I sound like a broken record, but take some time out of your day today and write down a list of your current goals, short and long term. This will really give you a sense of what you truly want in your life and you will mentally begin to develop steps to achieve. I find that this quick list really helps me stay focused and driven.
