Thursday Thursday Thursday. Gotta love Thursday. The week is just about over and that covenant Friday sits kindly in our sites. Just because Friday is quickly approaching doesn’t give us an excuse to put Fitness on hold. Let’s keep grinding hard and finish this week strong!
For today’s workout, my brother and I hit shoulders. Remember guys, broader shoulders makes your waist appear smaller! Who doesn’t want that?! TO achieve this, you got to hit your shoulders hard and heavy. Overload and progression all day!
Shoulders Week 2 5/3/1 Training Weight 155 + 3 sets 9-11 Reps
70% 3 Reps 110
80% 3 Reps 125
90% 3 Reps 140 (This was heavy! LOL)
DB Shoulder Press
DB Lateral Raises
1 Arm Cable Front Raises
Rear Delt Flyes
Reverse Grip Frontal Raises
To cap shoulders, Tom and I hit a unique little circuit to really burn out that glycogen in the shoulders. What we did was 30 seconds battle ropes paired with 30 seconds of kettlebell swings. After the full minute we did 1 minute rest then repeated. We performed this for 3 rounds. Fun circuit. Like I said earlier, anything for that skinny waist!
After school I hit up my Thursday evening hill sprints. I shot this little video.
In other AWESOME NEWS! IT’S OFFICAL I PASSED! I AM A CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER! I received the email yesterday informing me that I passed my exam and practical! :)))))))) All I need now is to complete my 30 Hour Internship and then I am good to roll! Let’s go I’M SO PUMPED!
