Before I get into any post about fitness, I want to take a minute to reach out to all those affected by the tragic events that occurred yesterday at the Boston Marathon. I actually live about 20 minutes outside of Boston so I was horrified when I saw on the news what had happened. To my knowledge, everyone I know that was either in the race or around the area is okay. To any of my readers out there who were affected by this or may have a loved one that was involved, I want you to know that you are in my prayers and if there is anything I could do to help, please let me know.
This event really makes you realize the value of life and the significance of others. I made sure to hug my parents extra tight yesterday before I went off to bed. I am very thankful to have my family and also thankful that none of them were affected by this tragedy. Again, for all out there who were affected, you are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all.
Yesterday started my lean gains plan to put on 5 LBS of muscle onto my frame. It felt nice eating in a little excess yesterday rather then feeling hungry throughout the day. I refrained from doing cardio yesterday just to give my body the adjustment of what 2,150 calories felt like. Not sure if that makes sense but it seemed like a good idea to me haha. I will be doing cardio today though! Last night for dinner, I got to enjoy and awesome meal LOADED with calories to really fill me up! Scope this out 🙂
Here we have a nice dish of broccoli, leafy spinach, 3 whole eggs sandwiching 4 OZ of a organic turkey burger. This was followed by 2 TBSP of All Natural Peanut Butter. MHHMMMHHMMM! loved it!
Yesterday Tom and I had an amazing chest workout. I’m loving training with my brother, he is really picking up on the movements quickly and to be truthful he is fueling my hunger! Keeping me pumped up in between sets and what not, we thrive off each others energy.
