Hello everyone! I hope all of you are having a great day!
The weather around here is really starting to warm up and it is getting me so excited. It is very pleasant to wake up and look out the window to sun and snow melting! Still haven’t broken that 50 Degree mark yet but we are closing in!
I’m loving my new Jim Stoppani 1-2-3 Lean Program. I feel bad mentally not attending UT Bootcamp but physically my body is feeling so much more well rested. I figure that I will take about 3-4 weeks off from the bootcamp to really recharge the batteries and focus on 1 weightlifting session a day.
Today I hit up Back, Biceps, and Traps
3-4 Sets with 9 to 11 Reps
Barbell Row 170(11) 175(11) 180(11) 185(11)
Dumbbell Row 115(11)x3
Seated Cable Row 150 Pin (11)x3
Barbell Shrug 135(11)x3
Barbell Curl on 45LB Bar 15(11)x3
EZ Barbell Curl 25(11(x3
Reverse Grip EZ Curl Bar Curl 10(11)x2 15(11)
5 Round x 10 Reps
Roman Twists w/25LB
Great workout and awesome pump. In terms of the shrugs, normally I try to shrug as much weight as possible. I have been doing some reading and alot of people claim trap growth lay in full range of motion and the squeeze at the top. Today, I wore straps while shrugging and really focused on the squeeze and range of motion and I must say that it certainly did burn. I hope that this method will help me bring my traps up. (Fingers crossed!)
Give this workout a try if you’d like. ANy questions or comments, hit me up! Have a great day and keep progressing forward!
