Happy Afternoon everyone! I hope your day is going swimmingly!
I’ve got another beefy post for you all so please forgive me in advance LOL. Here goessss nothing!
So starting from where I left off in regards to the crock pot, I received vital information from Megan at abetteryeartoabetterlife.com to bust out the crock pot and give that a shot with my chicken instead of normally boiling it or frying it. Well, advice well taken. I whipped out the crock, threw in broccoli, asparagus, turmeric powder, little bit of lemon juice, and some organic chicken broth and let it sit over night. Well, when I woke up, the smell of the crock was extremely pleasant and the taste was even better! The chicken was falling apart to the touch which was great and the taste of the veggies and moisture was outstanding! Definitely an awesome experiment and one that I will continue to use weekly!
Next up, I saw on HerHealthyBalance.com’s last post the recent purchase and diet installment of the “Superfood” Chia Seeds. Following some research on the food myself, I rushed out to the grocery store and added it to the arsenal! If you haven’t already, search the nutritional values of this food and prepare to be amazed. Derived from the “Aztecs” this food is scientically proven to help in sooo many ways. It’s relatively inexpensive as well. I tried it for the first time last night and it tasted good enough for me to not have to mix it with anything. I am certainly excited to see how my body reacts to this new diet addition.
This morning was ofcourse UT Bootcamp. Very fun and challenging workout this morning that I recommend for both a nice active recovery and muscle building routine. Simple and effective. Complete the listed exercises as fast as possible WITH proper form.
Sumo High Pull Deadlifts (95/65) 50
Ring Dips 35
Handstand Pushups 25
I completed this circuit in 16:25
Very fun and beware of the pull body MUSCLE PUMP! 🙂
Next up was breakfast.
I really like experimenting with my foods. This morning, to change from the normal routine of plain egg whites+spinach, I threw my egg whites into my Magic Bullet, tossed in cinnamon and 1 TBSP Unsweetened Cocoa powder, and blended it up. Following that, I proceeded to drain it onto the pan in attempts of a “choco”omelet. This may come off as gross, it may come off as tasty. I didn’t think it was that bad….but I am pretty weird lol.
Next up, my new preworkout!
As you guys may or may not know, I am a Cellucor Sports Affiliate. I use alot of their products and today I started off on their new C4 Extreme flavor GREEN APPLE

As crazy as it sounds, at the end of summer I made this “Goals” list with some nutty looking bullet points that I have referred back to in a few past blog post. Well looking at it now, I’ve almost completed it!
This is from 10/16/12. Looking under the Bench/Squat/Deadlift line, I have completed about 5 muscle ups, can kip, can handstand pushup, performed a human flag now!, and performed a one arm hand stand this morning at UT (will get it on film next time). The only thing left is a one arm pushup and I’ll have completed the list! (Minus bench 300)
Good day thus far. Homework on tap for now and again I apologize for the longggg post. Moral though, set goals, short and long term, and conquer them! You will feel great when you do! Have a great day to you all and remember WE’RE CHASING THE TOP!
