This Monday kicks off week 8 of my gym’s competition! Crazy, 8 weeks flew by. I am happy with the way things are going thus far. I feel leaner, stronger, and meaner then ever before. I really need to stay focused though and dial things in to a whole new level now! Training has to be on point, diet has to be tight, and mentality has to be that of a WARRIOR! WHOSE WITH ME!?
Continuing with this little “Menu Makeover” I have been experiencing, on Friday I sunk my teeth into a reallll nice dish 🙂
Yum Yum, Here was my nice 5 OZ streak with some kale and leafy spinach. I could feel the red meat just filling my body after meal after meal of lean proteins. I love steak 🙂
Then this afternoon post workout, look what found it’s way onto my plate…
Is that asparagus?? YES IT SURE IT! On my last food trip I noticed a semi-cheap bag of this beautiful veggie and I said “why not.” Certainly feels good to chow down on something else for a change 🙂

BIG NEWS During my marathon squat session, I wandered under the hanging rings at my gym and busted out a muscle up….thats right a muscle up! It’s crazy I wasn’t even thinking about it and just performed the exercise. I was AMPED! I then performed another one! CHECK THAT OFF THE LIST! Bittersweet feeling 🙂
