Wednesday Morning means UT Bootcamp so the grind started real early this morning. 4:30 AM as most of you probably know.
This mornings workout was more of a technique building workout. The workout is named “Hortman” and what it involved is:
45 min AMRAP
Row/Run 800 M
This workout was good, not so much intense, but a good cardiovascular workout. I attempted about 30 muscleups and came close to completing about TWO haha. I was a little upset but I will do more reading up on the technique and nail it in the near future! Give this workout a try 🙂
After a nice protein filled breakfast, I headed back to the gym to hit up back and biceps. No 5/3/1 movements for Back and Biceps so it was straight to Jim Stoppani’s Shortcut to Size

Standing Pulldowns: 90(11 Reps)x2 100(11)
Straight Arm Pulldowns: 110(11Reps) 120(11)x2
T-Bar Rows: 2 45 LB Plates+2 10LB Plates(11 Reps) 45+45+10+10+10(11 Reps) 3 45 LB Plates(11 Reps)
Barbell Curls (On 45 LB Straight Bar): 10 LB (11 Reps) 15 LB (9) 12 LB (11)
DB Incline Curl: 20 LB(11)x2 25 LB(11)
One Arm Pulldowns: 110LB (11) 120 (11) 130 (11)
Pullups: 50 (Kips/Regular/Close Grip/Chins)
Felt great today! My back is destroyed now LOL. All those attempted muscle ups followed by a devoted back workout….toast LOL. Hey Spartan Training 101!!!!
